Does anybody know how much it is for piriton, I have tried googeling but it's not coming up with much, I can't find my cash card and have about £2.13 in cash is this enough? Do chemists do a cheaper own brand ???

Do you need Piriton syrup or tablets? Branded Piriton tablets will be about £3 but they may have a generic Chlorpheniramine maleate tablet which is chemically identical to Piriton but made by another pharma company
  • Buy the el-cheapo own brand version.. it'll do the same job, it's just in a different box!

You'd be amazed the number of people who fall for the pharmaceutical industries branding of products

I still doubt that you would be able to get a generic brand for £2.13 though!

Just bought some for our dog (don't ask!) from Lloyds Pharmacy - actual Piriton is £3.15 and the Lloyds own brand was £2.99.
