    Yes, the fan does go all of the time. It does explicitly say in the instructions that you shouldn't keep food it it due to the fact that it can't guarantee a fixed temperature. I think it would be fine for milk and cold drinks on an occasional basis though, and for £14.99 you can't go wrong IMHO.

    Oh yes, I'd agree that it will be fine for keeping things cool, but not to guarantee that milk will reach its sell-by date!

    it's a nice cool 'cooler'. I've got nice cold drinks. It takes 14x440ml (beer size) cans if you take out the shelf and the door shelf. You could probably fit a few 330ml, but you'd probably reduce the cooling properties by blocking the fan. Mine is currently filled with bud to see how it goes. I intend to lager my homebrew in there (that was its official use)

    i have had a search to see if it has been posted already,but cant find anything so here goes.

    tesco's in peterborough are selling mini fridges for £15.
    they can store upto 14 cans it comes with car charger and mains charger.it can also either heat or cool.

    just brought one as im sure they were about £40/£50 last time i saw them.

    so check your local tesco's.
