Another shill bidder ??

Have a look at this ebay seller parkers-bolton

I noticed that this bidder ian15060 was bidding on several items, but have a look at how many

and this ebayer too deemo12

Does anyone else think this may be shill bidding ??
I only ask as I was about to buy two new bikes and I'm not giving them my business if they are bidding on their own items.

I have just found a great site for investigating shill bidding - http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/shill_bidding.php

You type in an auction number where you suspect shill bidding and it looks at the history of all the bidders within that auction and checks for other auctions by the same seller that they have bid on.

Looking at this thread, the seller "parkers-bolton" has plenty of previous sales, so pick one ... 7175028139 for instance. The shill bidding investigator page shows that there are quite a few 'regular bidders' (not saying they're all shill), ian15060 as expected, also pipster883 (sadly not won anything yet....in 33 auctions bid on). Have a look - http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/shill/7175028139.html

I notice that there is another buyer called Ian in the list of buyers. He seems to have bought three bikes from parkers in July and August. Could be the same thing.

well... if a shill bidder fails to push up the price then surely he/she would win the auction.

just to see if they leaves feedback for eachother :D

That's a cracking site you found there henge !! :j

I was going to report them, but where do you start ??
Imagine listing all them numbers
And there's loads of users too !!.

    I can't believe it...honestly !!
If you are legit and going to bid on a bike, then you bid on a few at a time in the hope you win one. If you win them all, you get a very large bill and how you gonna ride 6 bikes.

But some of these peeps have bid on 20-30-40-50 bikes at a time.......they must be shill bidding....right ??
