How to insure Irish Reg car (so I can get UK registration)
Patrice
Hi, I have an Irish registered car and plan to keep it in the UK, therefore I need to register it here. However, to do this I have to prove UK insurance (currently have Irish insurance). So does anyone know a company through which I can do this? Thanks!

When you say Irish do you mean Southern or Northern? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Try googling and contacting either BIBA (british insurers and brokers assoc) or ABI (assoc british insurers) they can point you towards companies that will insure it for you.
They will insure it on chassis no on temporary basis til you get it registered in UK and provide them with UK reg no
