Exhaust for Seat Ibiza - whos the cheapest

hi would recomend you NOT go to kwick fit as they charge well over the odds. I would recommend you go to a local "less ness" centre you can find them by doing a google search. They saved me at least 60% over the other exhaust providers. What I did what got the part (you need I think back end)I need and then went to a local garage and they charged me £15 to fit it. Kwick fit were charging me nearly £350 for mine and got it done all in for £120.0

OK, I'll give them a miss then. I think I only paid Kwik Fit £29 for the same problem on a old fiesta, albeit 6 years agoWycombe Till I Die0

As well as the fast fit places phone round just a few local independat garages - i wouldn't be suprised to see them come out quite a bit cheaper than the big chains.0

It seems that there is a reason why replacing the exhaust (by any fitting establishment) can be dear on this model.
Below is a quote from the honestjohn web site:
"If exhaust blows don't buy because replacement exhaust cost a fortune as subframe needs to be detached to fit it."
This basically mean more than few hours in the garage which is not cheap in most places at £50 to £70/hour.Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!

Thanks for the reply. It was indeed a right sod to replace, I had it go into 3 seperate garages to have an exhaust fitted but each had the wrong parts.
In the end ATS Euromaster came up trumps at £140 - not cheap, but cheaper than the £250 Seat wanted and also cheaper than the £230 from my local garage and £180 from Kwik FitWycombe Till I Die0
