£10 Asda voucher in the post

I just got a £10 off voucher on a £40 shop. I haven't been to Asda for several weeks now, due them not taking internet coupons. They must have some kind of check going on, they used to know who was buying what with the loyalty card scheme same as Tesco do but that finished years ago.

Is this coupon going out to all or do they know I have stopped shopping with them?

I'm going to use the coupon at Tesco anyway!

We got our voucher today, use by christmas eve, so this will go nicely towards my christmas turkey

Didn't know Asda did a loyalty card. Been to asda.com not seen one on there. No mention of one at my local Asda either. So (How) do you get one please.

ASDA ran a trial in a few stores but then packed it in - must have been about 3 years ago or more. Slough had the trial.

They've just inroduced their own store card and their own credit card - only problem is, you can't apply online and my local store doesn't have application forms. Nice one Asda! ::)

i saw the apllication forms in our asda(basildon) but just lkooked like a credit card

They do a Gift Card. It looks like a store card but you load it with money much like a phone card and give it to someone instead of a gift voucher. They also tend to give them out with a couple of pounds on them to keep unhappy customers happy.

yes they have started doing a store card and/or a credit card. not read up on it properly (since we don't have any leaflets!) but it looks as if you get money back

I always thought they didn'y do bogof's or offer loyalty cards & that they concentrated on keeping their prices lower ???

Is the voucher personalized? If not, can somebody scan it and put it up so those of us who dont have it can share Asda's generosity especially at Tescos?
