Got my order sorted out eventually - had to reorder the cutlery, which worked out better as it had been reduced by £2 from when I originally bought it. Got a full refund on the original wrong order. Second order arrived before I'd even got the email to say it had been despatched. The cutlery is really nice, quite weighty as well - brilliant bargain at 7.99.
The courier they seem to use is Home Delivery Network - I waited in all day for a delivery from them, phoned them at 7pm to be told I'd still get my delivery, phoned again at 7.45 to be told he'd tried to deliver and left a card. Not at my house he hadn't!
luvvlyjubbly, they should have at least one clothes airer back in stock now! :rotfl:0 -

http://www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=11&catalogId=10001&productId=26310&assocProductId=26323
was going to send them back but you have to pay postage and it wud cost me £9 to return:eek: not worth it when they cost £9.99 so will keep them.

Just like to give a warning if you order the bins, I received the pink bins today, well packaged in strong cardboard and polysterne but I lifted the bin out, it was all split on the inside in the cleaning bit, a big dent on the pink on the side and a big dent on the bottom, also the bin did not even flip up, it must have been sent out like this because it was very well packed, had to repack it all and ring them to get it collected.0

If you look at your own link they are called "OVEN-TO-TABLE CASSEROLES" so I would think they can be used in the oven. then again I'm no expert
I have these but.... although it says can be used in the oven they have a rubber seal round the lids which to me is more like a biscuit barrel type seal so I would be wary of putting the lids on while in the oven?0 -
Ordered 10 items on Monday morning, delivered this morning and TBH am NOT impressed !!
I'm ecstatic, all the ordered goods have been delivered bar a single £1.00 item which I wasn't too fussed about in any case.
But to top it off, they've sent me an extra item in error which has not been charged to my card, nor is it included on the delivery invoice. Ok I didn't order this, so didn't necessarily want it, but it will come in handy on the odd occasion !
Thanks to the OP !OCTOBER/NOVEMBER WINS- HOLIDAY TO DUBAI/IPAD 2/KINDLE AND LOTS OF OTHER OTHER LITTLE BITS I LOVE COMPING!!!0 -

I've used it yesterday and very good it was too !
As for problems with Halfcost, my order consisted of 11 items, £60 which were delivered 04th April. One of the those items turned out to be faulty (Vidal Sassoon Travel Hair Dryer £4.99 - For the Mrs !). I followed Halfcost procedure as laid out on their website and e-mailed c/s (07th April) to advise them of the problem. They promptly replied and advised NOT to return the faulty item (cost more than value) and said another would be sent out. Next day (08th April) I received an updated progress order e-mail follwed again by another on the 9th stating goods dispatched. Two days later on the 11th April my replacement item arrived in good condition.
To me that is superb customer service, no hassle, no phone calls, just one simple e-mail. Well done Halfcost ! :T0 -

I got the bins which are very nice and not damaged. I also got the casserole dishes and I was wondering if they would be safe to use in the oven due to the rubber seal. I also ordered the salad bowl which is good. This was my first order with Halfcost and I would def use them again.0

I would think the 'rubber' seal on the casserole dishes is actually silicone which would be heat resistant to a few hundred degrees.0
