Did the 17GWP - Lip Glaze + Lip gloss today, handed over the glaze voucher & 50p saving from ACM on the lip gloss paid £3.29 for all 3 not the cheapest combination but no till beep :)

This is the same combo I did (but I had a 1 pound voucher from the ACM). Have you tried the ultimate volume lip gloss yet? I really like it! It really does seem to make the lips look slightly fuller. I like "in the nude" the best of my three shades, very subtle and pretty. :)

We tried the n17 glitch 3 eye liners, lip glaze and gwp i was behind her and would have done it as well if it had worked but it didn't the till bleeped for the gwp another SA said let her have it put then when she tried to use the lip glaze voucher as well they said NO so we left it. Thinking about it i surpose we still should have got one eye liner at 58p and the lip glaze as that still is a very good deal silly me but the eye liner was brown which we didn't reallt want.

I had gone in about hr before i met up with dollardog in the hope of getting a hat box as they had them last week but no luck, and to look at the make up. The Security man followed me everywhere then stood right next to me while i picked up some N17. Well i told dollardog and she went sraight up to him and told him to leave me alone in future i think we both went a bit red. It was funny. My son stated having a paddy prob as in boots AGAIN hoped it would help us get the glitch as SA would be too busy bleeding from her ears to notice but affraid not.

Is it just me or do you see other people walking around boots stores with coupons/vouchers in hand and think "hmmm, I wonder if they read the MSE boots forum and if so I wonder who they are!"

I think we should identify ourselves to other fellow bootsers in store somehow, then we could share tips on the go! Maybe a pink carnation!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

special badges or a secret wave?

been there.. done that!!!! lol ;)

Well I went Bootsing today round central Edinburgh. Not very exciting though it did give me a chance to try the ACMs in three different branches, and one of them (Princes St) finally came up with two of the Mediterranean soap vouchers. Unfortunately though the glitch didn't seem to work in that branch, or perhaps I tried with the wrong product? (Almond Wheatgerm and Milk Med. Body Wash.) I didn't mind that much though as my mum likes that wash. I'll try with the other voucher in a different Boots.

One good find though was that I noticed a scrum of SA's all grabbing the big Lindt chocolate bunnies off the shelf! A lightbulb came on in my head that said "75% off????" and I was straight over there and managed to grab four out from under the talons of the vultures, lol. Lindt chocolate at 75% off, mmm.

Couldn't find any of the MF GWP or the No7 nail sets anywhere in central Edinburgh, (I didn't go to Shandwick Place Boots though) so consoled myself by mooching a couple of handfuls of samples from the various cosmetic counters. It's not often this country girl gets in to the big city and I do like a free sample! (I did the same in Jenners and Harvey Nicks, so I've quite a haul...) I think most sales assistants are so amazed at folk coming up to them and asking questions about the products that they'll give you anything they've got to give away. Try it and see...my usual line is that I've been using Brand X but I'm beginning to think it isn't stong enough or that I'm getting a reaction to it now or that I'm going to a big wedding and need make up advice.

Also got my lunch free courtesy of my sixth Meal Deal this month.

    Wasn't a bad day. I enjoyed myself and didn't spend a lot.
    Val.

I have noticed in the trevor Sorbie range it says 2 for £7 and it does not specify that it has to be shampoo or conditioner I have found some items of greater value like
    These
    serums
    glossers
    root cover ups
most items are £6.99 so like bogoff and thenuse till spit so £5 for £13.98 worth of stuff not sure what they are like.
There are a couple of Mark Hill items to for £6.99 on 2 for £7 and this one which is £7.49 so £14.98 worth of stuff for £5 when using till spit ( which runs out tomorrow)
Obviously these are not as cheap as the current Umberto Giannini offer with the ACM voucher (I was only able to print 2:mad: )
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

A big thank you for all the support I received yesterday after my traumatic visit to Lichfield Boots. I have been in contact with customer service, they were going to ring the store today to find out what they had to say. As there were 3 of them, they may say something different, and make me look like a liar as well as a shoplifter. I cant understand why I let them get away with it, I think I was just so stunned, and embarressed, and wanted to get away from that shop as fast as I could. Normally I stand up for my self. Now I am wanting for my .com order, which was no problem with 3 free concealers. I wanted to go into the store and show them my order, but no, I will not face going into there again. Boots loss, I spent soooooo much money in there this last year.

    Evening everyone :hello:

Happy birthday BrightIdea and PinkCandyFloss - I hope you've had a lovely day _party_

Back from Bognor and not much to bring home - all the nail kits had gone (managed to grab 1 yesterday, didn't realise they were 342 though !)

Glad some of you are getting the med stuff. I had some really good shops today (won't bore you with my lists unless you really want me to lol). I did manage to get the amazon stuff free as well as the med stuff so its a total mystery to me why it's working for some and not for others. Only thing I can think of is it's dependent on the store and how they set their tills up to deal with the vouchers/coupons.

I'm chuffed to bits with the A.Gianni shampoo/conditioner glitch with all the extra coupons so thanks to the person who wrote it all down (i'd have been all fingers and thumbs otherwise !)

Also got another expert tin and managed to use 250pts and 100pts vouchers with the 2 products I bought (again I think this is depending on the store!)

I'm all bootsed out for this month know (i'm kernackered ! lol) So, unless a MAJOR glitch comes along i'll just sit and watch all of you for the next couple of weeks (i'm on here to save money not keep spending it in boots ! lol) Got enough bits and bobs to last me a good while and enough to make up some lovely baskets so thanks to everyone

I've just got back from Worthing boots (town centre) and managed to get (3 separate transactions):

Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Med almond pistachio & olive body scrub (FREE !!!!)
Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Med almond pistachio & milk body butter (FREE!!)
Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Amazon forest brazil nut & vanilla bath creme (FREE !!)

I'm not sure whats going on but I used the ACM vouchers with each - maybe it's varying from store to store. I will post pictures of my receipts on here later for you all ......... but in the meantime ......... i'm off to Bognor to see if I can get some more !

HI were you in Worthing branch at about 1pm, today with some else. If so I think we were circling each other. It was either you or another MSer and I was tempted to say something-spotted the tell tale signs, multiple baskets and piles of vouchers but my head was full of a mystery shop I was in the middle of-not in Boots-another shop up the road but involving two visits. i got the med thing there too and the shampoos U/G no clearance though and nothing at the out of town Boots by sainsburys Lyons way worthing.
