Phoned CS again this morning re shortage of Expert GWP in some stores. Nice guy, Alan, checked the stock in the 3 Durham stores and said they had loads of them, none in the Chester le Street store though. Managers in some stores don't all seem to be aware of the GWP but if anyone wants to check with their local Boots if they have them the item number is 5146291, alternatively you can phone CS and they will check for you. Alan also said that there was plenty of stock in all the warehouses and managers could order more if they ran out, no shortage at all and available to all stores.
Hth someone.
Bunbun2, glad to see that you finally got one.
Eldon Square, Newcastle
Got my hands on the No7 nail sets today, SA's face was a picture when she price checked for me as she said they would be £15 each. I told her I thought they were also on 342, which of course they were. She said she would have to check it with her manager as she thought it was wrong, her manager said it was fine but didn't look happy. There were 8 left on the shelf when I left around 2pm, not sure how long they will last though or if they have more stock, I guess staff will want to buy some now, well I would if I worked there.
Had also enquired about stock of these to Alan  , my new friend in CS, the item number for these is 5313481 if anyone wants to check the stock levels or ask CS which stores still have them locally. He told me they were £15 so didn't enlighten him. :rotfl:
Was dithering about trying the Med glitch with a giftset, then voice over PA system announced a "345 in 567" or something like that. In a nervous and guilty panic I thought it could be a code for "MSE Bootser eyeing up the Med bags", decided to play it safe and just got a soap with a free soap.
MRSTITTLEMOUSE I see what you mean about the Eldon Square store, today I lost count of how many times I overheard SA's saying that they would have to "check with my manager" to various customers, they have obviously been told to double check everything. No problems at the tills using multiple points vouchers and MOC's with Expert purchases though a supervisor standing at SA's elbow did check them all and remarked that vouchers were a "pain" for the staff. My heart bleeds...
The till beeped at the Med voucher so £1.50 was taken off manually, glad that I hadn't tried for the giftset.
Passion8, was it you who wondered if the pink Bourjois tweezers would go through with the £2 tillspit? Yes they do, I did it 3 times today despite SA insisting it wouldn't work. Doing OK so far with the new tillspits on accessories and reduced brushes.
Oh, also found a Dior counter at last so picked up the new Dior Shine sample with the e mail, teeny little spray phial, not to my taste so giving it to DD, smells of raspberries if anyone's wondering, so nice for summer. Thanks for the numbers have rung this morning...but your numbers are the wrong way round;)

Will the store definately order the products in if requested ?? - or is it at the managers discretion??0 -
Also...the EX-Z1050 camera on dot com(the prseeie lol)is 10 megapixels good enough these days? Bit bulky, but it is rechargable.
Ten megapixels is way more than enough! The cameras keep getting more and more megapixels because they can, but really 3 megapixels is more than enough for anything you'll need. Three is enough to get a good quality, four-column picture for a newspaper (publications are where resolution and pixels really count), so it's plenty for standard prints and such. Ten is really just the camera companies trying to make you think their camera has an edge over the smaller megapixel version next to it. So don't worry, 10 is plenty, and if I had that camera, I would probably still leave it set at 3 megapixel photos if that were an option.0 -
