Hi,sorry for being a pain,but have been away for a week and keep reading about this ' med glitch' but cant find out what it is exactly? Could anyone put me out of my misery please? Thanks.

hi! tried telford retail park today took me ages to pluck up courage to try as it was my first time( as they say) first my bar code was ripped so shop assistant went and got another one , then my acm voucher wouldnt scan . the young girl next to her said i had that problem today you have to type them in. so that was that a waste of time..not a succesful first time..

Well after being so close to getting the med glitch yesterday i went to leeds bond street centre and crown point today

looks like crown point don't stock the soap and only have a very small med section.

leeds bond street had gaping holes where the soap and blue bags should be.

I only have myself to blame as i didn't get up till very very late. May go exploring tomorow oh well.

"med" is the mediterranean product range & the ACM is currently giving out a voucher that you get a free Almond soap worth £1.50 when you buy any other med product but the glitch currently going through some stores is that you pay £1.50 for the soap & you get the other med product free which saves quite a bit as even some of the med gift sets are going through at 0.00, I wasn't brave enough to try a gift set with mine but I did get the body butter which should cost £6.50.

OMG - can't quite believe it... Med glitch worked!!

DH changing bum of DD, says we're running out of nappies. this was at 4pm. Quick check online to see opening hours of nearest Boots... 4.30pm. Great 1/2 hour left!!:rolleyes:

So, obviously I volunteered to go and get some nappies, in the hope that they stocked both the soap and the gift sets. Went to the ACM, got the all important soap voucher, and went in search of the Med section. There they were.... 4 soaps and 3 blue £15 gift sets. (There were green bags as well, but didn't know if the glitch worked on these!!). So, went and got the nappies and trotted off to the tills. There were two SA's working, one quite experienced one and another new one I hadn't seen before, so I lurked around the clearance section waiting for the young one to be free.
She put it all through , I gave her my voucher and the till bleeped!!!! :eek: Oh no I thought... but it was only because she hadn't put my AC in!!! Phewwww!!!:T

I even hung around to give her my 100 points on a £15 pound spend coupon from the latest mailing... how cheeky am I????

So, all you NW bootsers in the area.... There are bargains to be had here!!!!

Vanda - it's very much luck of the draw. I find that I won't find anything and then suddenly there they all are! Just go to different branches as this maximises your chances. Last year I couldn't find the MF and ROC bags for love nor money and then visited friends in Oxford and found tons of everything!

Thanks to the OP who mentioned the No7 glitch!!! Got radiance foundation, concealer and a P&P for £18 paid for with points - made up for no more med vouchers for me. Also security man smiled and said "hello again" and "see you again soon" as I left.


I had masses of new expert vouchers on the ACM today - its not a brand I've ever used. Can anyone recommend it apart from the face spritzy thing?

The Cheltenham Retail park works, they have loads of soap and big sets!...go to the no7 till and see pauline, she is the best SA.

hi anic sorry that you didnt get any no7 nail kits think i just got lucky. saw that you went to sauchiehall st today was going to try there tomorrow and silverburn on tuesday will post on here if i come across any. will pick some up for you cos at that price they dont go wrong eh
