SBT to reduce mortgage interest

I have an offset mortgage. If I get a 0% for 9 months credit card that does fee free transfers into current accounts (SBT). Say they give me a credit limit of £5000, I transfer the full amount to my current account & set up a direct debit for a monthly payment of £555.56 per month (£5000/9). The extra will be against my mortgage at 5.7%.

Is this worth doing?

Yes, but why pay 1/9 per month? The best way is to pay just minimum payments (by DD) plus one lump sum at the end.
