Is it possible to change utility suppliers if I have arrears with my current supplier

They can block the transfer, and almost certainly will!0 -
If the arrears is over £50 they can object to you leaving BUT sometimes it still goes through automatically, as the fact that you are in arrears doesn't always show up. Try anyway, and if they object to you leaving, so be it!0
