Moving home discounts

Dear all,
I remember seeing mentioned in various newspapers that some companies (diy, furniture, etc.) give special discounts for people who have moved house, if you show a proof of purchase.
Does anyone have information about these types of discounts?
Many thanks.

Don't know about that - but when you change your address with Nectar they send a load of vouchers to help you out (loads of extra points ones I had), and Tesco do the same (thought not quite so good)There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
focus used to offer i think its 10% discount for the first 6months when u move home
i am pretty sure this is still available but check in store
HTHWhen you know better you do better0 -
Focus do still offer the 10% discount card for 6 months. You just need to perhaps gently remind the staff and take a solicitors letter with you.
Me and by bf have just obtained one, but it was only at the third focus store that we visited on the same day that staff actually informed us of this offer.C1 = £643.17, C2= £60.51, C3 = £376.48, C4 = £331.58, C5 = £422.570 -
I remember there was a pizza company doing a special offer (free pizza) if you'd just moved house - it might be Domino's?
I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I've never heard of anything else.0
