i thought youd get an option to unclick the saved password before you clicked enter or ok to enter the site, so im a bit at a bit of a loss, hope you get it sorted x

Saving passwords is NOT a good idea.

If you enter the correct one, doesn't it give you the option to update it?

its only forums i save the info on , not any paypal or money sites etc

no , theres no obvious (to me ) way to alter or delete it

Get Firefox and use the decent (protected) password management that comes free with it.

Having auto complete on passwords is a security risk, can you not see that?

On auto complete fields, type the first letter, brings up a list, cursor down to highlight the wrong one and press the delete button and it should be deleted.

why is it a risk? so if someone steals my laptop they can post on the forums ?

i havent saved any passwords to anything money related
