Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance

I have MPPI and have never used it and probably never will use it as the mortgage repayments have always come from my army pension and has been paid even when I was unemployed. Do I have grounds for mis-selling?

Unlikely.
Whilst your Army pension may cover the pension, what about your other outgoings? Unless you can show that you enough unearned income to cover all your committed outgoings then you wont get far with it.
Plus, MPPI plans are mostly not sold on the same basis as PPI cover. They are factfinded and recommended and a summary letter issued outlining the recommendation.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
