I need some help!
I've decided to splash out on a new MacBook but i'm really confuzzled -
On apple's uk store website you can configure them, i wanted to get the standard black one but i wanted it in white (personal preference) obviously there was a price difference but the only difference i could see was the size of the HD (160gb v 250gb), so i thought well i'll go for the white and just up the spec to a 250gb. . .
So one would think that both prices would then be the same because both laptops (as far as i could see) have the same spec but the only difference was the colour, black v white.
btw i'm lookin at ex vat prices, oops.
both hard drives are 250gb yet at the side a different price is displayed???
Sorry to be confusing but if i'm shellin out for a new pc i want to make sure i spend my money wisely.

Yep, as far as I can see, you're paying £60 for a black case!Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Yes, You pay a premium for the black colour.
A wiseman/women would buy the white one0 -
Then you can buy a black case from elsewhere on the internet for about a tenner, and replace them!Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Not if you wash your hands regularly.;)0 -
I have the black MacBook, it is a great piece of kit, however, the white one may get dirty over time, the black one has a matt finish, and your forever cleaning off finger prints, the white one take less day to day care!0

Do you not mean a gloss finish? Matt finishes tend not to grab fingerprints. As for cleaning, get a decent lens cloth. These deal with fingerprints and marks in no time. Ask a photographer!Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Unless you're ordering a custom spec, get it from John Lewis because you get an extra year's warranty for free.0
