    are you stupid?

If same sex couples amount for 500 of 1 million home owners... whats the likelyhood that he has a same sex couple friend, who have mortgage trouble, and work, and buy a house for 30k?

Did they even teach you probability at school?

How about he quickly typed it out, to troll (as his past proves and evidence points to) and you guys want to up your post count by adding worthless posts to this forum. grats.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probability

But i love how people don't read... and just want to go on a post crusade defending something/someone that doesn't even need defending... oO/ Tell im dealing with smart people here for sure.

gay people account for 5-10% of the population, i think it is you who needs to go back to school to brush up on probability and statistics.

you will find that 2/3 bed houses properties in this area, start at £69k

in fact my friend got the house for less than £30k as that was the total of the 125% mortgage.

if you check those sites where you can find out a propetys earlier sale value, you will find that these properties were were going for mid £20k just 4 years ago.

Thats a good House price increase if there has been one. I think this is trolling but i can't see the purpose of this thread at all.

it is, but even though it might seem "cheap" at the moment, i still think it is way overvalued as no-one would want to live there, it is a truly awful area.

So can you back your assertion up with fact?

... they managed to secure a mortgage on the property without a deposit, in fact it was a 125% mortgage (no prizes for guessing which bank gave them the money despite their already troublesome finances, yes northern rock!).

Apropos of nothing at all really , does anyone know what the arrears level is / was on the Together product from NR?

    I'll give you a clue:

It's roundabout nothing. Zero. Nil. NR had / have a good credit score system in place, borne out by the figures. Other lenders copied the product and came a cropper.

But why let that get in the way of a good blamethrowing session?

    Lol.... Its proving an example

1 out of 20 million ducks are rainbow coloured.

If my friend says he ate a rainbow coloured duck, i'd call him a liar.

P(Badger knows a same sex couple)
P(Same sex couple splits up unamicable)
    P(couple get house for 30k in 2004)
    P(Badger tells truth)

Multiply all these probabilities together and you get your total probability of the outcome

    I.e

P(Badger knows same sex couple) =0.1
P(Same sex couple split up unamicably)=0.01
    P(couple get house for 30k in 2004)0.001
    P(Badger tells truth)=0.00000001

    P(all)=0.00000000000001
