Just drag and drop them (holding the shift key down so you move them rather than just copy them). You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -
i did try that but then when i click on the system file for music its empty . i was really hoping to move the system filetrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0

Your last post makes no sense, could you rephrase exactly what you have tried?0

ok, well im running vista and on the start menu it has a file called music, its currently linked to the c drive. i thought i could just create a folder on d drive and transfer the music which i did but then when i click on the main music file it is empty, i have to locate the music by going into d drive .
what im hoping to do is to put the main music file on d drive
hope this makes a bit more sensetrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0 -

Start/Music under Vista just takes you to a folder called c:\Users\YourUserName\Music.
If there aren't any files in that folder to begin with, you won't be able to move them? You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky

Ahhh, I see.
Right click on Music (from the Start Menu).
Click Properties.
Click the Location tab and change it to where you want it to point to (in your case d: drive)You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
