i have googlemail and googlemail notifier i dont normally sign out so i always know when i have mail (ie pop up notifier) i did a stupid thing:mad: :rotfl: i told my hubby to have a googlemail account and so now he keeps signing out of mine to sign into his :eek: what i would like to know is it possible to have two googlemail accounts signed in at the same time or maybe have 2 notifiers open one for each googlemail

One of you could set up outlook or another mail client for their account, and the other stays web-based. That way, if you leave outlook connected, it will notify you when you get an email, and the web notifier will work for your partner!

I've tried various things for this but strangely for such a popular service there isn't a good multi-account notifier

The absolute best one I've found so far is the one built into Digsby. It does the job of tracking multiple accounts superbly.

But Digsby is a full Instant Messaging program (I'm currently using it instead of MSN/Live Messenger) so it might be a bit resource heavy if you only intend using it for an email checker (It's the second biggest user of RAM on my system after Firefox)

WebMail Notifier for firefox works like a dream. Would it be possible to have separate windows accounts (you're using XP?) - this would mean that firefox and firefox add-ons would be specific to the windows account you logged in with.

That's assuming you use firefox. I haven't a clue about Internet Explorer add-ons.

For Firefox there is gmail manager which can handle multiple accounts - http://www.longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/ .
