I know I've seen something similar on here recently and I've searched but can't find it.
Have just installed wireless here, and it works okay on my PC which is a wired connection using LAN cable, and it also works okay on daughter PC using wireless USB adaptor
BUT if my pc is on line it won't let hers connect & vice versa.
Any ideas? - or point me in direction of original post if anyone can find it?

and another thing - why can't I get headings in bold writing?0

If you mean "thread titles", they only appear in bold in two instances - either when the thread is new & you haven't read it yet, or when a change had been made to a thread (eg a new post added to it) that you haven't looked at yet.

What device? Is it a bargain bucket job that doesn't have router?0 -
No, its a wireless ADSL Modem Router (ZyXEL P660HW & wireless adapter G202) says its for BT connections, which we are, (although through TalkTalk) have ADSL microfilter installed in socket. (it also says its easy to install:rotfl: )0

Hi there scooterwife.
I have a similar Zyxel router and had a similar issue. There was a setting on the router config that i had to change, cant remember it off the top of my head but will check when i get home tonight for you!Useful is beautiful0 -
thanks fingerbob. glad its not just me!:o0

check your router logs to make sure the two computers aren't trying to connect with the same IP address.0
-
okay, how do I check my router logs? (I know, but I figure the more things I have to find out for myself, the quicker I'll learn!)0
-
enter your router's ip address in the address bar, it should then ask for your username and password, once logged in you should be able to find an option that allows you to view connection logs.0
