lol.
Actually, DH isgood like that-he can do MOST (when it comes to DIY) he puts his hands to, in fact he built the crib for our children and DD furniture-it's gorgeous, all white and pink castle-like for his little princess, bless.
He can weld, do electrics, paint and decorate, build anything-just dont ask him to plumb! lol
I asked first...wait your turn;):heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

can you do a 'trial' at the school to see if you like it/them and they you?
Sounds lovely about your OH making cribs and stuff by the way. I made a princess bedroom for my ds when she was younger, but not a crib from scratch. Rigged up nets and things and made bed froma kit.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Military Policeman? Although I suppose, if you like a man in uniform, that's a good way of meeting them, and you're the one with the handcuffs..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

You are right in what you say and i am in a quandry because it is the old flattery card they are playing-but i also in the past worked in a special needs school which i enjoyed- not necessarily going to be the same now though.
I have been a bit happier the past couple of days because i made a decision not to supply teach and i don't want to go down that route again. This would be a fulltime temp position- so slightly different. I think they were shocked the other day when i told them how i felt- I was fuming! It's hard to give up something you love and trained hard for. But i am thinking it over and will make a decision next week. A lot also depends on current test results for my daughter-if good then i will have more options, if bad then i will not even consider full time work.
Have to agree with you there BOB its scary how it really works behind the scenes at the moment. The pressure on teachers is immense to produce results not to mention OFSTED and all the paperwork and unpaid hours you put in. But I dont think I could ever be happy doing anything else. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
