Premium Bond Winner ?

Just had an odd situation. I used the premium bond checker app and it told me that I had won 2 prizes of differing amounts. It gave the number of both bonds that won. I then received my letter in the post that showed only one of the prizes. Is this an IT error? What has happened to my winning prize that was on the app?

I wonder if what happened to me also happened to you? Documented earlier in this thread.

My memory is hazy on the whole thing, but I got told I won one prize. But when the money was put into my account, there were 2 prizes. It was explained to me by people on this board that sometimes a winning bond can't be claimed by the original winner so the prize is re-assigned to somebody else. I think I got a letter to that effect some time later.

Your letter may not document the 2nd prize because it was written before the re-assignment?

If you go online and check your prize history, both prizes should be listed (I think).

Is it possible you looked at the app before September draw results were published, did you win two prizes of differing amounts last month?

No. Because one was £500 and that’s my first £500 for a long time.

After struggling with 2FA, I managed to get into my account and indeed both prizes are there.

2nd letter arrived today, with details of the second prize. So 2 letters this month a week apart, one prize on each.
