Yes, I had legacy tax credits when I opened my HTS account. I'm happy to admit it's not right, but I wasn't going to not take it up out of principles.MACKEM99 said:

One of us is getting the maths wrong (could well be me) - because I make your annualised yield to be more like 4.66%? 3.5% PA would give rise to an average monthly return of £145.83 (i.e. £1,750 for the full year) on full holding - and you're running at more than that - at £194.44 monthly average to date - for 9 months.Hoenir said:Jan - £250

Just 25 on full after a 50, 3.25% over 12months - 3.5% to be expected and only going to get worse with any rate drops.0

Can I ask about this please? My husband has had a bond from birth and to our knowledge has never won anything. We can’t find the paperwork to check the numbers online, but the contact address is still valid, as it his parents home. The paperwork is around in the house somewhere, I just can’t remember where I’ve stashed it.BooJewels said:The £1 holder that won £25k mentioned above was from 1960. Plus another won £5k with a £4 holding from 1978. I hope these long term holders get their money and have kept up to date with their NS&I accounts and contact details.Would NS&I automatically contact him should he win?0 -

But we've only had 9 out of 12 draws so far so...
3.5/9 = 0.388
0.388 * 12 = 4.66%5
