Saw this on another page, looks like the same person won two high value prizes

Wow, what are the odds for that?

To win one of those prizes in a lifetime would be unlikely & to win two absolutely amazing but to win both in the very same draw is mindbendingly long odds.

When using the app it tells you how many prizes you have won & in ascending order. Imagine opening the first to see you have won £25K & thereby knowing that the second prize is at least that amount....& even better when it turns out to be £100k...

If that is the same person, then that's really taking the mick.
  • Just looking at the list of big winners (alas, I fail to feature once again).
There are two winning bonds that were 'purchased' in Aug-24.
    £10k prize off a £50 bond, and £5k prize off a £500 bond.

If someone had bought PBs in August, then they wouldn't be eligible until the October draw.
Therefore - are these two prizes that someone won in the August draw, and then those bonds have immediately won a prize of their own? If so congratulations to those lucky folks, and if I were them, I would be buying a euromillions ticket too.

I think if you have your winnings reinvested in premium bonds they are entered in the next draw.  Maybe that is what has happened here

Yes it's happened to me before, but only for another small prize (£100 off a £50 win or something like that). I do love seeing the crazy stats that come with each monthly draw, like those already mentioned this month.

Congratulations to the person with a total holding of £1 who won £25000 in the September draw!
    LOVE stories like this!
64 year old £1 holding, unfortunately the likelihood is it will never be claimed. :(
My Uncle would have been a similar age when his single premium bond won a prize, though his prize was a singular £25
:) How often does someone with 1 premium bond check their prizes I wonder?

I always thought if you won two higher value prizes in the same draw you were only awarded the higher one and the other was redistributed.

Has it changed or did I imagine that?

Especially as 450LL200555 won last month as well.

That's probably the same bond number winning twice, not the same person.
