Wow, what are the odds for that?strawb_shortcake said:Saw this on another page, looks like the same person won two high value prizes
To win one of those prizes in a lifetime would be unlikely & to win two absolutely amazing but to win both in the very same draw is mindbendingly long odds.
When using the app it tells you how many prizes you have won & in ascending order. Imagine opening the first to see you have won £25K & thereby knowing that the second prize is at least that amount....& even better when it turns out to be £100k...
I'd say its around 1 in 56,782,080.
Using info from

My Uncle would have been a similar age when his single premium bond won a prize, though his prize was a singular £25pbcpdeveloper said:
64 year old £1 holding, unfortunately the likelihood is it will never be claimed.ShinyStarlight1 said:

How often does someone with 1 premium bond check their prizes I wonder? 2 -
I always thought if you won two higher value prizes in the same draw you were only awarded the higher one and the other was redistributed.Swipe said:

That's probably the same bond number winning twice, not the same person.Kim_13 said:

As I recall, he had a letter to say he'd won a prize, and he had to confirm his identity, but he's no longer here to confirm. He was obviously hoping for a bigger prize as they'd written to himpbcpdeveloper said:strawb_shortcake said:

That wouldn't seem to be in the spirit of the ethos of premium bonds, either every bond has an equal chance of winning or it doesn’t.Kim_13 said:
