Sweet FA for me this month on just over £41K, That means a final total return of £1,375 for the year. Despite good wins in June & October it's a below average year for my bonds.

I've had 6 months where I gotten just £25 (twice) and on 4 occasions nothing.

    Save £12,000 in 2025: £0 out of £12,000.

Do we get the prizes paid today or Monday via BACS?

Thanks, wasn't there an hour ago but is now.
  • Mine arrived today. Now added too and sent back to the NS&I Direct Saver using my debit card to get my £5 reward from the Halifax! It’s nice using winnings to earn more cash!

Ended the year on around 6% return so happy enough.

Until we were able to invest the full 50k we reinvested all winnings. I keep a record of what bonds win prizes - looking forward to the day a reinvested win comes up trumps but no joy yet! Anyone else do this - with success?

i  keep a note of successful winners on a spreadsheet.  I,ve had several winners in the same block win prizes but no single winner has yet had the fortune to come up trumps again.  A winner on a "freebie" winner indeed  would be the icing on the cake.  I do wish NS&I would allow winners over the £50K limit to be reinvested though.

I'd have been delighted with 6%, I managed exactly 2% on FH. I'm hoping for better in 2024 but wonder how long it will be before NS&I lower the rates again - I fear it will be quite soon, and probably a number of cuts before the end of the year.

Hi all i have added my winnings up today for this year and managed 5.7% on max holdings more than happy with that 😄
  • Just going back to what someone said about 'winning on a freebie' .  I won £100 in November on a £100 block that was reinvested in July .
