If I cash in some PB’s tonight - when would the money be back in my nominated account?

NS&I have a payment timeline calculator near the bottom of this page. If you cash them in before 8pm tonight then you should get the payment on Friday, otherwise it'll be Monday if it's made after 8pm.

    Thanks all

when the interest rate went up I thought it was worrying that they greatly reduced the number of £25 prizes (the only prizes I’ve ever won)

surprise surprise I’ve won naff all since (won 7 £25 prizes in the 3 draws before the increase)

gonna move it to an EA account where I know I will get a guaranteed return every month- not just if I’m ‘lucky’!

The NS&I Income Bonds have increased the interest to 1.8% and you get that paid each month into your nominated bank account, so that might be an option.

I didn't win anything this month, but my sister got 3 x £25.

You can get them next day if you open a direct saver and withdraw them to there.
  • £10,250 holding and won one £25 in over a year! Think it would be better off in a fixed savings account but I do like to dream!

Don't you still have to wait the same time for NSI to pay out?

Withdrawing directly from Premium bonds is 3 working days but instant to direct saver. Withdrawal to your nominated bank account from direct saver is the next working day for amounts less than £50K
