One in ten thousand if your bonds were selected individually. OTOH, you could have a block where they all contain the year of your birth.

Thought I had missed out this month but got an email today to say I had won a prize.

2 x £25 and 1 x £50. All from £5k bought in Jan 2017. Won £25 from the same investment last month too!

My husband and I have a race to see who's first to find the results each month.


We won £100 on the first draw on our first £1000, but that was in the days when £50 was the lowest prize.

Just literally stuck £50k back in now after being out for a couple of years. Will I be in the next draw or have to wait for the beginning of August?

I've always bought bonds near to the end of the month as possible, so then you only have to wait a couple of days plus the full month to qualify for entry.

Same here, especialy if I was doing the full £50k's worth. Even on a measly 1% savings account that is nearly a PB prize worth of interest lost over the next 20 days.

Third month of nothing for me! Since the interest rate went down it seems to have killed my luck. Gutted!
