My luck ran out this month with nowt on 26K.
Whilst looking back on the last 6 months though, I noticed that I had won 2 prizes on the exact same bond number in the space of 3 months (£25 in November and £50 in February). Now, if that was my only bond holding I would have had a very good percentage return for the last 6 months! :rotfl:0 -

While out cycling with a friend of mine , who said he had never had a win on £30k holding. I said to him that this month of March he would have a win as i felt it was going to happen to him.
In the meantime i checked both my wifes holding 50k she had 3wins 1x£100 & 2x£25 =£150.
I then checked my own bonds & i also had 3x £25 wins = £75.
So we had 6 wins between us , not a great amount of win money, but never the less a nice surprise.
Going back to the prediction that my friend was going to be lucky this month and break his duck !! , well i have not bumped in to him yet to see how much he has won , i had the feeling there was going to be a win, what i didnt realise it was going to be Our holding.:)0 -

2 x £50 for March 2017, on £50k.
First year result is in.
£50k from 29 March 2016 yielded £1,175 total.
Mainly thanks to the £500 prize in December 2016.
In fact, 1.25% on £50k is £625, plus £500 makes £1,125, so it is on track for 1.25%, if you see the £500 prize as an anomaly.
Just hope the anomaly for 2017/18 is the £1million prize.
I promise to stop penny watching, and spend it to help the economy.
After all, inheritance tax is 40%.0
