Has anyone used onlinebanking for a one off electronic payment to buy bonds at the lower £50 minimum (i.e. making it look like a Standing Order payment to ns&i but actually a one off payment).
That's how I've made most of my one off payments. Just set up a standing order then cancel it once it has been processed. Never had a problem doing it that way.High Value winners are now up - dayum! Missed it again *sigh*

I've just checked the site. Nothing this month - in fact, nothing since July :-( not good for the size of the pot we have in it.
However the one that made me smile was a £1000 win from a £3 investment to someone in Tyne and Wear. They bought the bond in 1957. Must have made someone's day - well, as long as they haven't moved in the meantime!!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
