Hi guys,
Just received my statement from Egg, whom currently have my short term, emergency savings. I've had between £100-£750 in the account over a year and received £6.32 in interest. I think that even though there's only a slim chance of me winning anything due to my very low stake, if I win 1 x £25 then I'm quids in. Somehow I feel that I can afford to risk not getting another £6.32 interest next year! Will read up on it, but presumably it's easy to withdraw the money, in which case I'll send my cash over there until the interest rates pick up.0 -
ooh, this time next month, i'll be with all you guys waiting for a win! yay"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like its heaven on earth." - Mark Twain0

IMPO, using PB's for emergency savings is a poor idea, since it takes a few days to get your money, subject to posting your encashment form etc.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
