    If they did that, it would trigger a massive outflow given the expected return isn’t good enough compared to other taxable savings accounts and the tax shelter is the most significant reason people hold the bonds (given that most people are never going to to win a big prize).

    I started with a £4,700 amount in August
    2022. I always auto reinvest any prizes. After a £50 prize in June my
    total is now £5,525.

    My yearly wins:

    2022 = £25

    2023 = £100

    2024 = £175

    2025 = £325

    2026 = £200

    Well another not so good month

    Both on FH's, I drew £25 & OH got £175. Oh is definitely more lucky than me.

    So will let the new rate run next month, and then time for some evaluation I think
