£0 for me on FH, ending a 13 month run of prizes. That brings rolling 12 month total to £1500 or 3% return. Been on FH for a year now (was on £25K before that).

    Better news for OH - £150 on FH (£100 + £50)

    £75 on FH
a bit of a let down
    Bug Luck for November
  • Is this generally known yet?

It was in a survey for NS&I and I can't be sure whether it's fact or just something to test the reaction, though it seems pretty certain.

£125 this month after I dropped to £45000 holding.
Currently running at 5.3% down from a best of 5.85% earlier in the year.

When you buy your first batch of PB you have to wait a full calendar month after purchase to go in the draw so I my first purchase was today(October 2nd)My numbers only go in the draw from December.Does that rule happen every time I buy more bonds at a later date? So if I bought more bonds in November would they also have to wait a clear month also and only go in the draw in January? Or because I already hold bonds do the straight into the next monthlu draw?

Always have to wait I'm afraid.
Usually I buy at end of month so they only have the money for the least time as it's better earning me money in an interest paying account rather than with them for the best part of 2 months.

The only bonds that go straight into the next draw are reinvested prizes, so best to opt for that if you do not have the full amount. My favourite day to buy bonds was always Jan 31st, so that I earned interest on the money through January, then missed the shortest month and the bonds were in the draw from March.

    £125 on FH for me.

As regards to the prize breakdown given in a survey, is this possibly in relation to the thinktank’s suggestion to peg the prize rate at 70% of the base rate? I do not understand NS&I’s obsession with paying out the same number of £50s as £100s in recent years. Logic dictates that the bigger the prize, the fewer of them there are available. Failure to follow that just makes the proposed drop worse than it needs to be.

Mine are ticking along quite nicely.  I put £5k in the pot for June and have had £10k in there since July and I've had £275 over five months so far, with this month's £150 a welcome addition.

Mind you, I'd had a £25 stake for the previous 50 years that won absolutely nothing over that whole time.
