Have the the prices of diesel and petrol gone up anywhere else but round our way (South Shields, Nr Sunderland) or is it UK wide?
when asked at our local filling station, was told it had gone up in the budget even though it hasnt.
So when i remarked that it hadnt, the guy said it was cos everyone else had put theirs up too.
currently pay 118p per litre of Jet diesel.

Yes, it's going up everywhere - Except, it seems, Boston (Lincs!) I travel there regularly with my OH as his mother is buried there, and we always fill up both cars - ASDA there is still at 99.9!!
Right now here it's 105/106/107ish, and doesn't seem to be rising very rapidly (thankfully!) Found a receipt in the my bag the other day for fuel at 95.9! I miss those days!!Sealed Pot Challenge! Aim; £100 Currently £11.61£2 Saving Club; Aim; £200 Currently £0

If you don't use it already, petrolprices.com is really handy!0

There is allegedly a world shortage of DERV, that's the latest excuse. Locally there is a 8p price differential unleaded/Diesel. 112.9p/litre for DERV!!
So much for trying to use a more environmentally friendly car (if there is such a beast?).0 -
Yes I heard that too.
Check Petrolprices.com for local prices they will send you a weekly prices in your area if you register
I pay paying £106.9 now for petrol cheapest in area, its getting so expensive to live now, inflation is a joke
The REAL cost of inflation: Why family bills 'have gone up by £1,400 in one year'

I remember the days when it wetn up 1-2p per GALLON. Now it's per litre - so it's going up 10p a time per gallon. It's around 112p round here. It's a disgrace.
I can't even fill my car up at Asda or Tesco - the pump cuts out before it's full!0 -
We are able to add Biodiesel to our car which was at 96p the last time we filled up. Usually about 15p/l cheaper.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I saw diesel yesterday at 120.9 p/l!!!! And there is a rural filling station near us selling four star at...........£1.55.9 a litre!!! I know it's a more or less redundant fuel these day's but is this the UK's dearest fuel at the moment???0
