I went to work. Plain and simple as that. I felt like S***, had only 3 or 4 hours sleep but I made myself go. I will sleep tonight with a clear conciensce safe in the knowledge that I didn't miss my work through a 2 day hangover.
I saved another 6 £2 coins as well.£2 coin/ £460 -
Hi all

Today I have....
-worn extra clothes instead of putting the heating on
-used candles instead of putting the lights on
-done 6 surveys
-started sorting stuff to sell on Ebay, Amazon and GreenMetropolis
-made up my mind to start a spending/debt diary (will start posting later when I've done my SOA)
and best of all......NO SPEND DAY :j:ADFW Nerd 145
LBM - June 2006 - DEBTS - £19,261.08
Nov 2017 - £10,644.92!!
[ibSeptember 2024 - still not debt free but only about £2k to go!! Woop!! [/i]0 -
I spent more time on internet banking lol. I have a couple of debtors that refuse to accept any kind of sensible payment plan, so I have set up standing orders for a quid each to them, they will have to like it or lump it. Changed my spreadsheet to reflect what I am doing. Checked my saved snowball so that I know how much needs to be paid in april.
Also found an email from rpoints, turns out I joined them back in 2004! So I have been signing up to a few things on there.
If I keep doing stuff my little nagging voice will have to shut up sooner or later!0 -
I've had a no spend day and I also contacted energy provider and got a discount on my electricity thanks to the great people who post on here. :j
Cooked soup in the slow cooker and that will last us for a day or two and also made scones/muffins to have with it.
Working my way through the cupboards and freezer before I buy anything at the shops. Applied for a 0% card that is for 15 months so I hope that I get it, otherwise I'll just have to sort things out sooner.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
