Egg Credit Card Cash Back Question

I was always under the impression the Egg Credit card offered cash back on my purchases! Just looked it up on the Egg website and found this:

"Cash back Earn up to 10% cash back when you use your Egg Card at our specially selected online retailers"

So if i use the egg for all my purchases then unless i don't use it at their specially selected retailers i am not getting cash back?

I don't swear I'm 100% right on this, but I have a feeling that the non-blue one (is it brown/green? I'm colour-blind!) does not give cashback as we know it, but the blue one gives .5% on all purchases. I notice that no applications are are being taken now.
They both give discounts when you purchase things from the approved suppliers on their website.

The "up to 10%" really is on "specially selected online retailers" which vary (not much) from month to month and, to take advantage, you need to click through the link on Egg website to these retailers.

Otherwise, Egg have recently announced stopping cashback on green card. Apart from those special deals was only 0.1% anyway, so no great loss. But the blue card still offers 0.5% cashback (unless you go for one of the 'up to 10%' deals online).

However, Egg are not taking applications for blue cards now, promising 'something exciting' - who knows, the excitement may lie in the withdrawal of cashback on blue. We'll have to wait and see.

yeah its the green one. I have got like 22p cashback on there and i have never used it for their recommended sellers. Hmmmmm confused!

Looked at the Conran card Martin suggests but it doesn't say anywhere that it gives cashback just that you get rewarded from buying from Conran's outlets and restaurants
