Lightweight laptop, which ones?

Some time ago I bought a Dell laptop. The price was good and the laptop performs well. But it is heavy to carry around. Now we need another laptop for the family. I have been looking at Dell's and Amazon.co.uk pages but they do not tell you how heavy the models on sale are.
Could anybody give me an idea of how to find out, or where to look? I cannot afford the "top of the range" models slim as a paper I've seen around.

We bought an ASUS eee pc recently from Laptops Direct for about £210. It sure is small -- about a5 and includes all the software most people need. I would not want to write a book on it -- keyboard and screen too small. For notes and emails, it is great.0
