Magic Eye Question ...sky+

If I install a magic eye thingy to send sky to the bedroom, can I still watch a separate channel downstairs on the same box ? It`s a sky+ box so has 2 inputs from the dish.

Not sure what your setup is! The magic eye only lets you change the channel remotely on your sky+ box. To watch two different sky channels at the same time (obviously on different TVs), you need to subscribe to sky multiroom at £10 extra per month.

    Hi tight jock,

no it will not let you watch two different channels in seperate rooms despite the dual feed input. As pointed out by stevemvs, you will need multiroom to achieve this and a second Sky box.

The magic eye is just for sending commands back to the box from a seperate room, and not for providing an additional output.
