British gas to e-on

Options
Hi,

I've been with BG for nearly 2 years now. Im on there click 4 tariff for duel fuel since october last year. E-on seems to be coming out well on the comparision sites so I was going to switch over ( still confused as to their 2 different offers they do ).

Now dispite several emails to BG they wont reply as to wether Im locked into a contract/tie-ins whilst using BG? Anyone know please?

Anyone had any problems with e-on as they promise to beat BG prices.

Cheers

Most providers now offer a free "opt out " service. This is the case for click energy 5. If you are having problems switching then upgrade to click energy 5 with the "opt out" offer and then switch!!!
  • didnt think off that!

    Nice one

You shouldn't have a problem in switching from Click 4 with BG to EON. Theres no tie in on this product. I'm in the process of doing the same thing and I actually work for British Gas but EON now works out cheaper for me and professional loyalties apart, I need to save money on my bills as despite what a lot of people may think given Centrica profits this year I haven't had a large pay increase and the company are trying to reduce the performance related benefits they also give to employees. Incidentally does anyone know what the difference actually is in the EON internet tariffs? They've just told me that I"m registered for Energy Online Extra Saver 5 for ele and Energy Online saver 4 for gas yet I'm sure I went for the online extra saver 5 tariff for both and I now see that they've got an Online extra saver 6 tariff available as well. it would be helpful to know the difference!!!

    Thanks a lot
