Hi there,
DH will be going bankrupt in pretty soon with massive debts that we cannot pay (70k)
Myself as his wife stays at home and looks after our 2 sons
Please dont criticise me for what i am about to say, i resorted to selling concert tickets on ebay to help bring money into our home, whilst doing this we were still (and still are!) massively over drawn, to the tune of 8k!! so really trying to stop going over the 8k overdraft, still that much od now
hubby business did not work hardly ever got paid, therefore cash advances on the cards, upping existing loans etc etc, this happened over 4-5 years hence it all catching up now,
When hubby does go BR and the OR sees bank statements, he will see transactions for ticket companies every other day , then large paypal transfers every other day too, (all i was trying to was to pay debt) obv at OR interview hubby will say that to help bring money iin this is what we did.
Will he be in tons of trouble, will they want to know ebay id, username , password etc etc,
This is a real big worry of mine and really worried if he gets in even more troulble even though we were trying to make ens meet!!
any advice on how he should handle this,, or any advice on the complications
do you think my paypal/ebay acc could be closed by ebay (not sure whatfor or why), do you think the or and ebay/paypal communicate with each other
thank you

Hi Rodney,
your question was asked and answered a few days ago and is here. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=806549
Richard s seems to have answered your question for you.
The worst thing that could happen is your BR is extended and your receive a BRO. Theres not going to be a spell at her majesty's pleasure:D
I doubt the OR and ebay/paypal communicate, and theres no way the OR will want to know your password. Nor will your account be closed down.
As long as your up-front and honest about it all then you'll be fine. The OR 'may' want to examine your paypal account if he feels theres money stashed in there, though i've never heard of them bothering with them.
You were doing what you could to keep your head above water-aren't we all:rolleyes:The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

thanks better late than never
the reason i re-posted is that i am seriously losing sleep over this ticket selling malarkey, and scared that paypal/ebay acc will be closed, whilst some people are still awaiting their tickets, then had images of people banging my door down for their tickets, i am suffering from bad anxiety and paranoia over the last couple of days, i also seeked advice from another debt forum, and the answer scared me ,. that the or WILL want to know my user ID but not passwords, i wish someone else had done the same thing and were able to tell me that what i have done isnt that bad and that its gonna be ok,
i break down in tears, then ok the next then not only the worry with or but then MAYBE paypal ebay, imagining what they are gonna do.
I feel sick right now, and i apologise for posting again, suppose i am just looking for ultra reasurrance.............sorry:o0 -
Hi Rodney,
Can't help with your queries.(sorry)
Just wanted to say that you will get support here.
From what info i have gathered, the OR just needs to make sense of why you went BR. If you used the money to pay creditors/living expenses ect.. then it should be ok.
All the Best
