Advice on buying a 2-3 year old car Vs new car with varying financial options

  • Thanks for all the replies...I have looked into the cost of leasing more carefully...looks like for a personal user like myself, where I can't claim any tax back...it's more expensive than buying upfront with cash.

The way around putting too much cash upfront as far as I can see currently is buying with a personal credit card and get a new 15 months 0% balance transfer card and pay it off at the end of 15 months.

Also, I note the point about BMW...I think time for a VW passat! Thanks for all the comments.
