Apologies if the answer to this is in the forum already, woundering if someone can help me. I have just moved into an ex-council house, the previous owner had a phone line installed, we have plugged in a phone, there is a dial tone, but we can't dial ot (which I understand, is because we don't have a BT account) Do I need to pay the £125 connection fee with BT, or as there is a dial tone, is there a different fee to pay.
