Best time to do a balance transfer

Dear people, my mbna sony card 0% expires middle of july i want to do a balance transfer to brittannia for 6 months@ 0% when is the best time to do this? thanks in advance.

    If this was 'real' debt, rather than stoozing debt, I'd be applying for my chosen card 4-6 weeks before the end of the 0% intro period.

    [STRIKE]You do know the Britannia card is only available to Britannia Members? (easily sorted with £100 in their Direct Saver account).[/STRIKE] Scrub that. Just seen on another thread you're already a Britannia member.
