Hi,
Don't know where you are in the UK but I go to the Abergavenny Food festival every year, this year its the weekend of the 13th & 14th September. I go for the purchasing of many varied foods, my brother though goes to lots of the talks and tastings, (he thinks the whisky one was quite good, he just can't remember!!)

It is a way off yet (September) but The Soil Association's Organic Food Festival is held in Bristol every year and is really good. Brilliant for freebies and discounts too. http://www.soilassociation.org/festival
If you join the Soil Association you get a free entry tcket too: http://www.whyorganic.org/involved_joinSA.asp
They tend to have an offer for the first so many new members per month which will comprise of some goodies. I got a lovely bag of ethical cosmetics in January when I joined.0 -
