Actually, I'd forgotten, but on Central Trains (now CrossCountry) we have left the buggy up in the disabled space quite a few times without any hassle. We've also left it up just in the space by the doors, a few times, but admittedly when travelling just one stop to get to Birmingham Airport from my favourite free parking spot.0

Hmmm Id take this further. In the letter they have sent you they only mention the fact that prams and pushchairs cannot be left up. They seem to forget the fact that this is basically his wheelchair. They are definately in breach of the DDA as they were not willing to make provisions for your son.
Hope your ok though, I would have gone nuts at them if they had done anything like this to me.Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
So sorry mspig to hear of the shameful treatment you received. Yes I would take it further. I agree with previous poster that Virgin seem to have completely overlooked the fact that your little one was using the pushchair as a wheelchair and attached to his medication. How about writing to Mr Branson?
Poor you, it must have made you feel terrible.0 -

and to add, you might think the link is deleted by changing the word to ***, but it isn't. It is still live and clickable.
Alias_Omega, you need to delete the link from the quote.====0 -
I too would take this further, email a full and explanatory letter to Mr Branson. You have been treated disgustingly, and Virgin appear to have disregarded the DDA.0

That's really shocking - I know this is going back a bit now, but I'm sure a paper like the Daily Mail (I know, horrendous newspaper, but they do like to print stuff like this..) would be interested to hear your story. Seriously, drop them an email.By replying to this post you are agreeing to my Terms and Conditions which state that I am correct0
