    Wrap up warm!

Get there when it opens because the hordes arrive after 12pm and it can get very busy.

Take the trolleybus to the town/village first and explore that and do the other stuff later.

You can use Tesco Clubcard Deals at Beamish.

Each to their own. My mum enjoyed it and so did my 2 kids aged 4 and 5.

I went a few years ago and loved it. Very interesting place. I'd go again.

Defo wrap up warm and take a picnic, the catering isn't up to much and like most tourist attractions, expensive for what you get.

We had a great day at Beamish yeaterday, did take our own packed lunch, didn't manage to get all round the site, the girls spent too much time in the School. would go again very good day out, and wasn't to busy yesterday.

We went to the Life Centre in Newcastle today and that was also a great day out.
