Hi - I bought a couple of the red today which are nomally £2.99 each so don't expect something too amazing. Details:

Domaine St Pierre - Vin de -pays de L'Herault - 2004
Medium bodied, 12 %. Light & smooth suitable for sausages, chops, steak frites, pizza and mild cheeses.
Blend of local varieties such as Grenache and Syrah.

I bought some of this today and we drank one tonight. It's nice, not too heavy.

Got 6 bottles and 5% discount = about £14.00 then I had £3 vouchers as I have a M&S c.card and also in with vouchers was a freebie for 50 points for 6 bottles of wine. So with points 6 bottles = about £6.

It tasted even better when I worked that out.!
  • I too would be dlighted to know if there are any tombolas coming up in the Norwich area soon. Failing that a a Blue Peter bring and buy sale would suffice (I've always wanted either a Blue Peter or Jim'll Fix it badge!)

But I don't actually like wine, I find it a tad too elitist, even the Aldi stuff! I much prefer 70's style cocktails (Cherry B and the like). As I'm currently pregnant, maybe there could be a nice alcohol free bottle somewhere, as water and pineapple juice become rather boring after a while.

Any tips on safe for pregnancy drinks, tombolas and bring and buy sales would be absolutely ace!

    Thanks
