I'm about to get the floor in my kitchen/diner boarded with ply before I get vinyl flooring put down.
The room is about 3m x 4m - does anyone have any idea how much I should pay for labour/materials?
Thanks in advance

I think it may make a difference where in the UK you live. I live in London & just recently had a carpenter in for a week to do various jobs, including boarding the loft. It averaged out at about £250 per day.
He bought most of the materials from Wickes, & provided me with the receipts, so there was no mark up on materials from him.
Not sure if this is of any help to you.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
That's really helpful thanks - I don't live in London so am hoping he'll be a little cheaper.

Am also thinking of getting my loft boarded - any advice?Filiss0
