I put a new kitchen in 4 years ago, took the advice of a chap I know who runs a domestic appliance repair company, he said either Bosch, Neff or Siemens.
I chose Neff, Dishwasher, Extractor, Hob and Oven, up to now, touch wood, no problems with any of them, the only downside, according to my repair chap, is that if they ever do go wrong, it'll cost an arm and a leg to repair.

Hi,
If you're looking to buy products with a long life, do look at your energy & water consumption sums (you might not be on a water meter now, but you may be in the future).
The increased costs of running one machine rather than another can be significant.
The following link explains the EU energy label, which should give the information you need to help make your decision. The example they use is for a washing machine, but it's the same basic format.

Hope this helps.0 -
I swear by 1. Miele
2. AEG
3. Bosch
Miele are pricey, but they live forever  If Miele are out of your price range, go for AEG or Bosch.
This is just my opinion, of course! Well, not JUST mine, but I'm not quoting anyone else[0 -
I have a great AEG dishwasher - it's so quiet, you just hear a gentle swooshing sound! I was appalled at the noise my parent's and sister's Zanussi(es?) made, they can be heard all around the house.
It's A rated for performance and energy consumption as well. A bit pricy at £400 (and that was on special offer at Currys!), but worth it."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0
