hi all i have to go for a verbal appeal at stoke on trent on wednesday as when we aplied for is in november 2006 it took 10 weeks to get a reply and then they asked for a wage slip that was 3 days after i got the reply but 3 weeks beyond the cut off day of when all paper work should have been in. needless to say thay told me i was too late toclaim from the beginning of november even tho i got the wage slip on the day they wanted and posted it straight away, from what i can see they extended the deadline by asking for more stuff. the C A B reckon i have a good chance. a couple of questions. what can i expect when i get there and can i say anything to the appeal about court costs and threats of eviction cos we couldnt afford rent and council tax even to we got IS from mid january so it shows we were entitled
