    Am leaning towards the Ipod, but will pop into a big boots to see about the Archos if they have any in stock.

    Have bought ipod classic 80gb but am at a loss as to how or where i can get cheap or free downloads. Can anyone help......please!!!!

    itunes is only 79p for most tracks, sounds pretty cheap to me...
    You won't get free downloads legally, nor should you in my opinion - I'm all for supporting the music industry.
    Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o
  • try play.com .. DRM free - you can burn them to disc etc .. if you loose them in the future you can re-download them - no special software needed either

    You can get lots of free downloads legally. Just not usually well known chart acts.

    Of course they do, but you don't get to choose them. I thought it prudent to say, as a colleague of mine is convinced that she uses a website that legally gives her as many downloads of her choice as she likes for £5 a month. As far as I am aware, that's not the case. Websites can try to convince you you can have a clear conscience whilst still stealing on your behalf.
